SSC CHSL Vacancy Details

The Staff Selection Commission has announced a total of 2536 vacancies for the 2026 recruitment cycle. These positions are distributed across various Ministries, Departments, and Constitutional Bodies of the Government of India. The primary roles available include Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have passed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. For specific roles such as Data Entry Operator (DEO) or DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and the Ministry of Culture, candidates must have passed the 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The age limit for all posts is set between 18 and 27 years. The commission provides age relaxation for reserved categories: SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, while OBC candidates are granted a 3-year relaxation.
